KAWUO is a membership organization, KAWUO registered 617 local women groups and 15 women community-based organizations in all the Eight districts of Karamoja (Napak, Amudat, Nakapiripirit, Kotido, Kaabong, Abim, Moroto and Nabilatuk), and it is through these women groups and district networks that KAWUO implements its activities.
